A BRIEF HISTORY

Trained in BBC Radio in London and then moved into commercial radio.

Then to a succession of TV production companies in Manchester before setting up his own company. Subsequently freelanced for BBC North doing network TV shows and has also freelanced as an Ad Agency producer.

Mainly produces or shoots/directs corporates and training films. Has also shot on location in most parts of the world: Africa / Asia / China / US and all over Europe. Highly experienced on all types of kit.

Highly motivated individual with great attention to detail. Works best under pressure in a team with a tight deadline and limited budget. Can wring the most out of any half-decent creative idea.

Happy to shoot, direct and/or produce. Good understanding of all processes involved in shooting and post.  Can motivate and work with crews of any size. Sensitive with people and extensive experience of interviewing and dealing with people often in stressful situations.  Can deal with people at all levels.

Committed and motivational speaker/trainer/teacher. Able to translate theory into practical work and has the experience as a practitioner to show how this applies to real-world situations within the film industry.
