Bolton Arena is one of 11 LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) centres in the UK. Talented players come to train here from all over the North and many go on to College scholarships in the US and the UK as well as playing on the professional tour circuit.

Bolton Arena has now been open 20 years. Originally set up to host the badminton events for the 2002 Manchester Commonweath Games, it is now a centre of excellence for tennis in the North West as well as hosting a massive amount of other sports and community events.

A new innovation is the Motiv8 gym team sessions – as this video shows.
